My favorite scene in the book would probably be when Matilda writes the terrifying message on the chalkboard.

I disagree. 1. It's not that terrifying. 2. It's not that funny either. Funny parts are best! 3. It's kinda too dramatic....
Sorry Manasi.

My favorite scene was when Matilda wrote a scary note to Trunchbull and it looked like that old rat was going to use the bath room on her self.

My favorite scene is when Bruce Bogtrotter manages to eat a 16" chocolate cake in front of a cheering audience and a terrifying, raging giant (Ms. Truncbull). I think that part of the book is very "amusing"(for the finicky grown-ups. I think the word funny is just fine!). I also like the scene when the newt (the horrible little alligator) falls onto the terrified Ms. Trunchbull.

My favorite scene in this book is . . . When Matilda used the millions of little hands in her eyes to lift the chalk and write the message to the Trunchbull and scare her right out of town. How happy I was when Miss Honey was when she got her fathers house and money!

My favorite scene is when Matilda runs the Trenchbull out of town. She used her magic powers to lift the chalk and write on the chalk board which scared the Trenchbull. She had the chalk write about Mrs. Honey's father.

My favorite scene in the book would be when Miss Honey adopts Matilda and they both hug. Matilda is a wonerful girl who deserves a great parent. That was a beautiful ending that i will never forget. My other favorite scene in the book is when Matilda writes on the chalkboard with her very own eyes to scare Ms. Trunchbull and make her faint. I have a lot of favorite scenes in the book like when Miss Honey tells Matilda her greatest secret. I love the book Matilda!

Me too! I liked when Matilda got adopted by Ms. Honey. It was really cool but weird that her parents gave her up. But her parents never took care of her, her mom always played bingo and her dad always sold cheap cars for unfair prices. So Ms. Honey would be better for Matilda because Ms. Honey and Matilda are both smart.
